Hi,
I am looking at purchasing your InstallAware Studio Admin 18 product, your site boasts Windows 8.1, SQL 2014 Express and .NET 4.5.1 Support.
I tick the box of the "Application Runtimes" that I want to build into my test/demo installer, then hit the "Download Runtimes.." button and all it does is redirect from http://www.installaware.com/getruntimes.asp to this link: http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4
Are "Application Runtimes" available in the demo version 18?
If not, whats the point?
Application runtimes available in the demo version?
Application runtimes available in the demo version?
Regards,

Re: Application runtimes available in the demo version?
Dear User,
Application Runtims are included with the trial version as well.
Just verify that you installed all InstallAware features.

Ok thanks. Then why does the MS SQL server Express "Plug-in" in the "MSIcode" tab, only offer 2005 and 2008 versions? Why are they not all grouped/accessible together?

Re: Application runtimes available in the demo version?
Dear User,
All the application runtimes are listed under the "Application Runtimes" page (select the Design View Tab from the top ribbon menu and then the Application Runtimes node in the left tree pane). I am sure you will be able to have all the MS SQL runtime versions grouped and accessible together.
The MS SQL server Express "Plug-in" is only used by some legacy versions of MS SQL and still there for backward compatibility reasons.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.
