As stated in the title, when I add a line in my MSIScript to edit a non previously existant INI file (which means IA will automatically create it), the file is saved as UTF8 without BOM.
I need it to be UTF-8 WITH BOM.
Is there any option to enable this somewhere in the IA software ?
Couldn't find anything...
Project settings is already defind to 65001 codepage.
Edit INI File always saves it as UTF8 without BOM
Re: Edit INI File always saves it as UTF8 without BOM
Is it possible to have any support in there ?
Or are we just supposed to pay an expensive licence and then go on with it ?

This topic applies to InstallAware Multi Platform as well.
Are you testing with the Native Engine or the Windows Installer engine?
The former is the only engine available with InstallAware Multi Platform.
I suspect your issue will go away when you use the Native Engine.
We cannot control the Windows Installer engine behavior as it is dictated by Microsoft.
