Re: Installaware X13 won't run from within Visual Studio IDE 2017
Thanks for reporting this.
As workaround please proceed as follow:
1. Uninstall the VS Extension from Visual Studio.
Launch the VS 2019 IDE, Extensions menu -> Manage Extensions. Then select to uninstall the Extension.
*follow the on-screen instruction to complete the uninstall...you will need to close and restart VS to complete the process. Once the Extension removal has completed, Have care to close the VS IDE before proceeding with the next point.
2. Download and Install IA Free Edition (VS-Extension) using the trial installer.
Download the IA installer from:https://www.installaware.com/downloads-product-downloads.htm, and from the page, have care to specify a valid email address where to receive your setup password.
Once done, run the installer, enter the password, and then Choose Free (requires Visual Studio) and "Install at least required features".
Finally, run Visual studio once the IA Installation has completed.
Hope this helps you.

Re: Installaware X13 won't run from within Visual Studio IDE 2017
This issue has been fixed with the latest x13 update(v.30.02.00.2021).
Therefore, the previously suggest workaround is no longer necessary.
