The .Net Plugin Bridge template project is by default based on .Net Framework v.2.0.
However the same may be compiled using .Net Framework v.3.5 as well.

As at this date, the .Net Bridge will not work with Net Framework runtime greater than 3.5.

I done a quick test and I don't see any issue when installing SQL CE 3.5 pre-requisites. The runtime gets installed as expected.
