I'm fairly new here, and it seems PMs are disabled for the forum of which I was caught unaware.
I have asked our team to reach out to you directly for installation assistance.

Re: InstallAware X16 Product Will Not Install
We fully support Windows Defender scenarios.
It would be great to see a video of the problem in action.
The team may need to schedule a remote session with you for further assistance.
Please feel free to send me a PM for further instructions - many thanks!

Re: Automated installer build using docker
What you used before ought to work well, with the addition as above: RUN cmd /c InstallAware_X16.exe "/k=[redacted]" "/s" "/l=C:\\IA_install_log.txt" "TARGETDIR=C:\\Program Files (x86)\\InstallAware" "DISKZIP:FALSE" The web build already defaults to ...

Re: InstallAware Multi Platfrom /Linux - unwanted console output
I only asked because it sounded like the User Registration and Feedback sample did not directly reproduce the issue until you changed the theme to the macOS theme - is this the case, or was that untested? Naturally, there is no expectation that you burden yourself with testing the 15 themes that shi...

Re: IA Multi Platform (Linux) how to expand path in the script
It should certainly work.
Could you attach an empty project which does just this and nothing else, and I'll have this escalated for you right away.

Re: IA Multi Platform (Linux) how to expand path in the script
Please use the Convert Path command, picking Convert to Long Path as your operation, and passing in the variable holding the short form of your path. On Windows, this command converts between short and long path forms ( c:\progra~1 to c:\program files type operations). On macOS and Linux, this comma...

Re: InstallAware Multi Platfrom /Linux - unwanted console output
The issue is theme-dependent, in that scenario?
Also to clarify, this is an AMD64 platform?

Re: IA Multi Platform (Linux) GTK requirements
That's a fair issue, the setup engine initialization progress dialog does look rather poor.
If you could clarify your distro, that should help speed this fix on its way too.

Re: Automated installer build using docker
Well, that was quick! Please download the latest web build from http://www.installaware.com/00/myahew_sw.exe. Please add the parameter DISKZIP:FALSE to the existing command line. Just test the minimum install - it ought to work fine, is what I am told - but we'll still wait for you to verify before ...

Re: Automated installer build using docker
Forgot to mention that at the point where Docker does seem to choke the installer, the setup files - and registry entries - should all be in place already. I'd try using the resulting container (killing the hung installer process) as an alternative approach (to manually copying over files and regist...

Re: Automated installer build using docker
Docker's ultimately an application virtualization platform, and based on the log you have shared, it is choking either when file system permissions are being applied, or while application pins are being placed. I'd place my bet on the latter scenario. I'm afraid working around issues in third party ...

Re: IA Multi Platform (Linux) GTK requirements
That is correct, you may use the console mode self-extractor for this purpose. I had provided details on your previous thread. Unless you're using the console mode setup engine, you may force the use of the console self-extractor in all builds by renaming the file dependentx into dependentz and the ...
