Re: Detect MS SQL Instances fails on Vista Home Premium

Michael - thanks for your response. The issue happened with my one of my testers. He said he was running the installer on a Windows XP machine. The SQL Server is on a different machine. He received the same error message as described in the original post, and the line number cooresponded with the Sq...

Bump again. A beta-tester of mine had the same issue - running on an XP machine, however. But, the error corresponded with the Sql Server detection plugin.

One of them reported the same error - and it corresponds to the sql server detection plug in.

What's the fix for this?

Thanks.

Re: MS SQL Server Connection Issues: Connecting via SMB Port

Thank you for this post.

I was having a problem getting the connection to work on a client computer, and forcing Port 1433 as you described solved it.

Re: EditFile Plugin link not working

I was having the same problem a few days ago. The installer for the plug-in is somewhat buggy. Here's what I did to get it going: Completely uninstall the EditFile plugin via the control panel. Download the latest version via the link above. Close ALL windows. Run the installer. That did it for me -...

It's simply a path name contained in a table. I have every other aspect of the install program ready to go except ...
