if i understand you right you want to check if updates are avialable bevor the scheduler runs that task (normally sundy 3:00). if so it is possible to simple start the windows scgedulartask directly with right mouse over the task (EXECUTE) so it starts directly to see if there is an update and loads...

Hello, i have exactly the same problem. SQL 2008 R2 not wants to install on x64 machines. Non the 32 SQL neither the 64 bit runtime. All original Setups from microsoft runs well. I have tested all in a newly installed windows 7 (virtual box). I tried to load the new runtime, but the link did not wor...

Hello Jasper,

i am also looking for a possibility to include the german librarys for SQL, IE, DOTNET and the stuff which is needed.
Did you have figgured out how to do this or do you have the scripts ready?
