AVG will whitelist it and all will be well. Just email them at support.avg etc.

Re: install run times based in features?
InstallAware say they don't monitor these boards as they charge for support. It is peer-to-peer and there aren't to many peers around. You could ask Sales about these issues as they do respond if there is a sale in the wind :D The short answer is Yes it can. Add the 'Feature' and then surround...

Re: Update Canceled
IA adds a line to a file that it has performed the update BEFORE the update is processed. From then on, it assumes the update succeeded. It's hidden in the docs very well. You need to test that the update succeeded and if not remove the line from the IA created file. Of course this is unsatisfactory...

Re: Single File Build Fails With "Cannot open file..." Error
The hard disk is full,
Permissions need to be assigned to the drive,
There is a locked file in the directory that can't be deleted/overwritten - take permission.
Just a few thoughts

I suggest checking the value of the variable with "EQUALS(Ignore Case)" rather than "Contains".

Re: Icons for full branding
this is the content of IA Help --> Search "Change Setup Icon" I did all of this prior to doing the first build. That's why this is an issue. I'm not certain but did you do this again after you upgraded to IA9 and have you included your icon in your support directory? I'm running out of su...

Re: UserContext vs. UAC
Technical Support is a paid item which you obviously don't have. There are only a few "experts" that even look at this board and then only from time-to-time. I would suggest you gather the data into a variable and when you "change context", use those variables bearing in mind per...

Re: Icons for full branding
You are correct. The icons you mention are in a different location.
In IA Help, search Change Setup Icon.

Re: Icons for full branding
I'm not certain but I think that as IA installs into a new directory each time, hence when you upgrade you need to re-edit your settings/screens.
