OK, answered my own quesiton. You need to add the "setuptype" dialog in order to initiate a "Custom" or PERSONALIZED install. This will then cause the components tree to be displayed.

Why don't you have a Microsoft WSE 3.0 Applicaiton Runtime Prerequisite? It is provided in the basic Visual Studio Setup & Deployment project which I am trying to get away from. Can you add one to your next release ??

I don't think I understand this answer. I want to run (as a prerequisite) another installer (maybe windows installer, may be installshield) but include the reference in IA Express. If I add it under Creative, I get an error.
