Ok - I finally had some time to take a look at this. I took your suggestions to heart, and here's what I have tried: - created a new empty project (.Net Setup). Selected the .Net 3.0 Framework - built with the IDE -> works great! - built with the command prompt (at a command prompt) - similar to my ...

The user does have access - I just confirmed this (again) by: - building with the IDE - and running the install - works fine - building the same project with the command line (no errors on the build) - running the install - get the error described in my first post. This was working great until we up...

IDE vs Command Line builds

I'm getting this error after updating to the new version (6.09): Runtime error in setup script: Line 37: List index out of bounds(36) The contents of that line are: Include Script: checkmsi30 When I build this using the IDE, everything is fine. Thanks for the info and the work around. The only method of editing table fields is using Orca - is that the recommended method? What I'm not sure of, is how to automate this on my build script. It would be quite handy for InstallAware to offer the ability to set MSM properties <sigh>. Thanks again

VS2005 Merge Module creating 'Module Retargetable Folder'

Note : Okay - I posted this in the Technical Support forum, with so far no response. I'm posting it here, as my purchase is dependent on whether this is an issue/bug. An issue that I thought was resolved has come back. I'm trying to include a VS2005 merge module into an installer (currently an unco...

VS2005 Merge Module creating 'Module Retargetable Folder'

An issue that I thought was resolved has come back. I'm trying to include a VS2005 merge module into an installer (currently an uncompressed exe project). When I run the installer, I get the merge module retargetable directory created explicitly: c:\\Program Files\\New Project\\Module Retargetable F...

Pre-sales questions

I'm been evaluating a few different install packages, and a few questions have come up with InstallAware. I'm hoping the answers are in the docs somewhere, but have just eluded me. 1) I'm plan to support several applications, including a common library that all these applications depend upon. This c...
