We are having this same issue now that we are providing both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of our app.
After installing TPC 2023 R1 64-bit, TPC 2023 R0 64-bit is still in Install Apps like before.
I've attached the project files for TPC 2023 R0 and R1.

[X] Run $title$ Now in finish dialog creates a critical program issue
1. We use [filename].dat files \ProgramData\ to store user settings. 2. These files are provided by both installed .cab files that are extracted to \ProgramData\ and installed default .dat files that are copied to \ProgramData\. 3. If the user chooses [x] Run $title$ Now in the finish dialog, all of...

Re: Can't create shortcut in start menu
I figured it out. As soon as I changed the circled Pin options from Yes to No the TPC Desktop 2019 shortcut stays in the Startup Menu for Windows 11 and doesn't disappear. Don't pin desktop shortcut.png I have to say that once again, I spent way too much time figuring this out. This is worked in Ins...

Re: Can't create shortcut in start menu
I built your testprj and installed it. I changed a few variables to mimic what we want. When the start menu is first opened, I see the shortcut Test Project is there.png Then, without doing anything, after about 5 seconds, the short cut disappears Test Project is not there.png Reopening the start me...

Re: Can't create shortcut in start menu
It looks like you are sending the link to the shortcut folder, but it doesn't show up in the pulldown list in the properties dialog. No Shortcutfolder.png 1. Do I enter $SHORTCUTFOLDER$ manually? 2. Why isn't it in the pulldown list? 3. Where does your documentation tell me what $SHORTCUTFOLDER$? is...

Can't create shortcut in start menu
I can't get a shortcut to show up in Windows 11 Start Menu. Tested OK in Windows 10. InstallShield created the TPC Desktop 2020 link shown here under the Traverse PC folder. They make it so simple. I want IA to do the same thing. Traverse PC Folder in Start Menu.png I've added the shortcuts I want t...

Re: Old version still visible in Settings, Apps after installing update

Re: Old version still visible in Settings, Apps after installing update
The zipped folders are too big for your attachements.
Here is a DropBox link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r3gmbpxg7rzg ... 16nJa?dl=0
It has subfolders for both shared and separate Product codes for the versions. We could get either option to work properly.

Import setup created in IA IDE into a Visual Studio 2019 Solution
1. I created an IA IDE setup in the \InstallAwareApp\ folder shown on the top when I evaluated IA. 2. Now I have purchased IA and want to integrate my existing IA setup into VS 2019 3. The IA extension in VS 2019 created the \InstallAware\ folder on the bottom with the TPC20R1_Mixed Platforms.iaext....

Re: Old version still visible in Settings, Apps after installing update
Thanks for you help. We can manually remove it under Control Panel as you stated. That solution will mean users of our app will have to post to our forum or contact technical support to clean up an old install. Yikes! We don't want to do that for something that should happen automatically. We never ...
