Trialware not working
I'm trying to create a trialware version of my application. I go through the DRM tool and wrap my application. When I try to launch the application nothing happens. The application does not launch, I don't get any messages or errors. It is a simple C# application in VS2022. The version of DRM tool i...

Re: Installation progress text
@Mallika, I found this solution on another post from January. https://www.installaware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11513 In your project go to the Project tab, select Project Settings, then from the tree select the Project > Compiler Variables node, add a new compiler variable for NODROP and ...

Re: Windows 11 progress broken
Disregard the previous post. Full instructions on how to change a compiler variable were not provided. Previously I just added SET VARIABLE NODROP to TRUE in my MSI script. Re: Installation progress text
I'm just following up on this issue and wonder if there is a solution. I have created a pretty basic install with X16 and tested on a Windows 10 computer and a Windows 11 computer. In my case the Windows 10 computer works fine and it shows all the file names in the progress text. However, for Window...

Re: Crystal Reports 13.0.5 Merge Module Crashing InstallAwar
I am having a similar problem adding the Crystal Report 13.0.10 merge module to my project. It appears that the path for the output of the Single Compressed EXE File is too long. My project is in a folder called C:\Development\My Installations\TravCom Connect Setup, so the default output folder woul...
