Hi,
is there a WhatsNew or ChangeHistory available on the website?
The help file of an installed product contains such an overview.
Kind regards
Anja

Re: miabuild results
Hello Francesco,
I uninstalled and reinstalled X12 today and can no longer reproduce this behaviour. So maybe all was just due to some system quirk. No idea. Have a fine weekend.
kind regards
Anja

Re: Used variables at the target system
HHi, I have expressed myself a bit misleadingly. When I do the initial installation, I choose a setup type that causes various components to be installed; perhaps I specify the credentials that will later be written to the encrypted configuration. So, as I understand it, the data provided during the...

Re: Used variables at the target system
Hello France3sco, The setup doesn't store script variables or parameters to the target registry. However the setup data are part of the installer itself, and these are stored as "setup source files" on the target machine. That is okay, since no sensitive data is included there, Does a REPA...

Used variables at the target system
Hello, I am currently working on a project, mainly supposed to be deployed with a software distribution solution. The provided connection settings to a datasource are stored in a variable, written to a config file, which is afterwards encrypted. This is implemented, tested and working well. The setu...

Re: Installation as System User with IA X12
Hello Francesco, I have completely recreated the project and it works now. I didn't want to post the log here because it contains sensitive data and is 64 MB in size. Another question: I see a full variable dump in the log; is there any way to do something like this via the custom log script without...

Installation as System User with IA X12
Hi, I have a working IA setup, build with IA X12 using Aero theme. This setup does not work correctly when executed as System user (reproduced with psexec). Applying ALLUSERS = TRUE as default, changing Aero to Official and applying code modifications from https://www.installaware.com/forums/viewtop...

Custom Application Runtimes
Hi,
we frequently use the Application Runtime Wizard.
How can self created runtimes be distinguished from installed ones on a developer machine, when all of these are located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallAware X12\runtimes folder?
kind regards
Anja

Initial component selection is ignored
Hi, we are working with InstallAware X12. Current problem: the initial (un)selection of components is ignored during runtime. The screenshot shows the components at design time above and the result of the build setup at runtime. screen.png The definition of the second and third component was edited ...
